Testimonials

“I would like to express my gratitude for the most wonderful time had by myself, husband and family, at Castle Durrow. It was a celebration for my husband’s birthday. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. From lunch in the bar, with the wonderful staff, to the beautiful dinner that evening. The service was second to none, and the attention to detail was excellent. We look forward to our next visit, and our family especially the grandchildren can’t wait to visit again!

Many thanks, Kind regards, Moira”

“Thank you very much to you and your fantastic staff for looking after us on Sunday and Monday. We had a fantastic break in a beautiful location and will be back again soon.

Many thanks, Emmett.”

Kind regards, Jennifer”

“We just wanted to say thank you for the lovely night we spent in Castle Durrow last Saturday for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. As usual everything was perfect. Room, food, staff, etc. The bottle of wine and note in our room welcoming us back was a lovely gesture. We look forward to coming back to visit as soon as we can.

Regards, Erika & Glen”

“Dear Shelly and Peter,Just a quick note to say hello and thank you so very much for your wonderful hospitality. I was a member of the US Travel Agents group to Ireland. Although we just didn’t have enough time to truly appreciate your beautiful home, I am feeling nostalgic and do think Castle Durrow was my very favorite. I wandered the gardens in amazement listening to the birds. I never got tired of going up and down the beautiful staircase. Dinner was just delicious and my room very comfortable. Again, thank you. I so want to come back. Maybe you could adopt me? Will work for access to the view! Lol!

Have a wonderful week!

“We would just like to let you know that we had a wonderful 24 hours at Castle Durrow on Saturday/Sunday. The staff were all so lovely, the rooms fantastic and the atmosphere so warm and Christmassy. The food at both dinner and breakfast was beyond amazing. Many thanks to you all and we will definitely be booking again next year. Hopefully there will be a few more of us.

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas.
